Dr Ronald Wright, Jr opened his Middle Tennessee endodontic practice in 2002. His experienced team provides the most recent, clinically proven scientific approaches to endodontic therapy and pain management. Our team is regularly updated on technological advances and sterilization techniques.
As an Endodontist, Dr. Wright specializes in all phases of surgical and nonsurgical endodontic (root canal therapy) therapies. He is trained in treating simple and complicated adult and children’s teeth. We treat all cases through state of the art operating microscopes utilizing digital technology in a paperless office. This allows our patients and referring doctors to contact us securely and electronically, saving time and improving communication.
Dr Wright comes from a family of dental healthcare providers; his father is a restorative dentist in Oak Ridge, TN and mother is a retired dental hygienist. He grew up in Oak Ridge and attended the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Wright earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997 from the University of Tennessee. He completed advanced training in Endodontics at the University of Maryland in 1999. Dr. Wright served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland while completing Endodontic coursework and obtaining a Master of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Wright practiced in Plano, Texas while serving part-time on the faculty at the Baylor College of Dentistry before opening his practice in Nashville, Tennessee in 2002.
He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, Tennessee Academy of Endodontists, Southern Endodontic Study Group, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, Millenium Study Club, and the Governor’s Study Club.
Dr Wright, his wife Margaret, and their three children enjoy an active rural lifestyle. When not in the office he can be found spending time with his family on their small horse farm or pursuing any of their many other outdoor interests in middle Tennessee. Dr Wright and his family attend Grace Chapel Church in Leipers Fork.
Crystal has been part of our family since 2010. She is originally from San Diego, California and graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. Her passion is to always be educating herself and passing that knowledge on to others to help the practice grow. Crystal keeps everyone in check by managing all moving parts in the practice and focuses on patient relations, accounting, and coordinating events.
When she’s not busy at the office she volunteers for the BEST program with the Entrepreneur Center, works towards receiving her MBA in healthcare, and spends time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
Jenny has been with Tennessee Endodontics since 2010 and brings the most experience with practicing dental assisting since 2005. She graduated from High-Tech Institute in Nashville, Tennessee with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental. She loves making sure patients have a comfortable experience and educating people on the importance of endodontics. Jenny is always pushing herself to learn more and enjoys working with our amazing staff.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and staying educated.
Stephany joined our team in 2016, and we consider ourselves lucky to have her! This Lansing, Michigan, native loves easing patients fears by creating a more comfortable environment for treatment. Stephany places an emphasis on educating patients about the process of root canal therapy.
When she’s not at the Tennessee Endodontics office, Stephany loves baking, cake decorating and weightlifting.
Amara makes each patient’s experience her primary concern. There’s nothing she loves more at work than witnessing a patient leave our office happy after a successful root canal experience.
A native of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, Amara loves Boston sports (Go Pats and Celtics!). She can also speak a little bit of French and cook up some amazing Beninese dishes from her time in the Peace Corps.
