Endodontic treatment fees are based on the extent of the treatment. During your first visit we will discuss your needs. We’ll talk about the anticipated number of visits, their length and their associated fees. Endodontic fees generally range from $1,000 to $2,200 in Middle Tennessee. However, the fees may vary depending on the complexity of the case. This variation depends upon the number of canals, curvature of the roots, previous therapy and restorative needs.
Insurance providers make changes to their benefits daily. This means your plan’s provisions, benefits, payments, coverage and covered doctors may have changed. Please be aware that insurance was designed as a reimbursement for payment, not as a substitute for payment. As a courtesy to you, we file your primary insurance and only require that the estimated, uncovered portion be due at the time services are rendered. All information necessary to file subsequent or secondary insurance will be provided to you so you can be properly reimbursed.
If you find that your dental benefit is different than expected, here are a number of possible explanations:
- You already used some or all of the benefits available from your dental insurance.
- Your insurance plan paid only a percentage of the fee.
- The treatment you needed was not a covered benefit.
- You have not met your deductible.
- You have not reached the end of your plan’s waiting period and are currently ineligible for coverage.
We are currently in network with:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Delta Dental
Once your insurance payment is processed, usually within four-to-six weeks, your remaining balance owed to Tennessee Endodontics will be due immediately. Most dental insurance carriers cover endodontic procedures in the Brentwood and Middle Tennessee area between 50 and 80 percent of their established usual, customary and reasonable fee (UCR).
